Kroužek přátel Evropy – zahájení

Ve středu 9.10. opět zahájil svou činnost Kroužek přátel Evropy, který bude i letos seznamovat studenty druhých ročníků  s fungováním Evropské unie. Začali jsme přednáškou a besedou o základních faktech ze vzniku a vývoje EU, na které jsme uvítali pana Jana Kabrdu z Eurocentra Jihlava. Přednáška byla velmi zajímavá a obsažná a studenti měli řadu konkrétních dotazů.

Na závěr jsme se dozvěděli podrobnosti o nejrůznějších soutěžích EU, jichž se mladí lidé mohou zúčastnit. Nejvíce zájmu vzbudila  soutěž DiscoverEU, o níž jsme informovali i 3. a 4. ročníky,  která umožňuje vyhrát bezplatnou jízdenku po Evropě.

Friends of Europe Club – Opening

On Wednesday, 9 October, the Friends of Europe Club once again began its activities. This year as well, it will introduce second-year students to how the European Union functions. We started with a lecture and discussion on basic facts about the origin and development of the EU, during which we welcomed Mr. Jan Kabrda from the Eurocentre in Jihlava. The lecture was very interesting and informative, and the students asked a number of specific questions.

In conclusion, we learned details about various EU competitions in which young people can participate. The most attention was drawn by the DiscoverEU competition, which we also presented to third- and fourth-year students, and which offers the opportunity to win a free travel pass across Europe.
