Biskupské gymnázium ve Žďáře nad Sázavou začalo na počátku školního roku 2023-24 s realizací nového 3- letého programu Erasmus Jean Monnet Initiatives EU, jehož cílem je zkvalitnit kurikulární a mimoškolní výuku o aktivity spojené s Evropskou Unií.

Projekt má za cíl nejen seznámit se s historií a institucemi Evropské Unie, ale i získat další informace o členských zemích. 

Finsko je rovnocenný člen EU, ale jakoby stranou prázdninových a cestovních pobytů většiny Čechů. A jen pár kilometrů od naší školy existuje Soukromá jazyková škola Mgr. Aleny Hanzlové, která vyučuje nejen anglický jazyk, ale je také absolventkou filozofické fakulty UK v Praze obor finský jazyk. V minulosti s naší školou spolupracovala na realizaci tří projektů EU s finskými školami v Jyväskylä a v Joensuu. Proto jsme paní Alenu přizvali opět ke spolupráci na dalším projektu o EU. 

V pátek 22. září měli studenti sexty a 2.B tu čest se účastnit 4-hodinového workshopu. První část byla informativní a týkala se geografických a historických údajů o Finsku. Druhá část byla věnována finskému jazyku.

Studenti na závěr prezentace a workshopu dokázali vést stručný dialog základních seznamovacích frází ve finském jazyce.

Děkujeme paní Mgr. Aleně Hanzlové za milou návštěvu na naší škole a zároveň děkuji studentům za pozorný a pracovně naladěný přístup v těchto netradičních hodinách.

The Bishop Grammar School in Žďár nad Sázavou launched a new three-year Erasmus Jean Monnet Initiatives EU programme at the beginning of the 2023–24 school year. The aim of the programme is to enhance both curricular and extracurricular education through activities connected with the European Union.

The project aims not only to introduce students to the history and institutions of the European Union, but also to provide further information about its member countries.

Finland is an equal member of the EU, yet it remains somewhat outside the usual holiday and travel destinations of most Czechs. Just a few kilometres from our school, there is the Private Language School of Mgr. Alena Hanzlová, which teaches not only English, but whose founder is also a graduate of the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague, specializing in the Finnish language. In the past, she cooperated with our school on the implementation of three EU projects with Finnish schools in Jyväskylä and Joensuu. Therefore, we invited Mrs. Alena once again to collaborate with us on another EU-related project.

On Friday, 22 September, students from Sexta and class 2.B had the honour of participating in a four-hour workshop. The first part was informative and focused on geographical and historical facts about Finland. The second part was devoted to the Finnish language.

At the end of the presentation and workshop, the students were able to conduct a short dialogue using basic introductory phrases in Finnish.

We would like to thank Mgr. Alena Hanzlová for her pleasant visit to our school, and at the same time thank the students for their attentive and diligent approach during these unconventional lessons.
