Project Erasmus+Jean Monnet

Na začátku školního roku jsme se v rámci projektu Jean Monnet připojili k oslavám Evropského dne jazyků již potřetí. Studenti si připravili krátké vstupy o různých evropských jazycích a uvědomili si tak, jak pestrá jazyková mapa Evropy je. Atmosféra byla uvolněná, přátelská a přinesla mnoho nových poznatků i radosti z objevování.

Součástí programu byly také aktivity, které si studenti sami vymýšleli – od kvízů a hádanek přes jazykové hry až po krátké scénky. Díky jejich tvořivosti se podařilo propojit výuku s hravou formou, a tak si každý našel něco, co ho bavilo. Aktivní zapojení žáků podpořilo nejen jejich jazykové dovednosti, ale i schopnost spolupracovat a přemýšlet nad tím, co je spojuje s vrstevníky z jiných zemí.

Celá akce měla také hlubší vzdělávací rozměr. Kromě toho, že jsme se naučili něco nového o jazycích, otevřeli jsme si cestu i k lepšímu poznání jednotlivých kultur. Studenti si uvědomili, že znalost cizích jazyků není jen praktická dovednost, ale i cesta k pochopení hodnot, tradic a životního stylu našich evropských sousedů. Evropský den jazyků nám tak pomohl více vnímat naše společné evropanství a význam vzájemného porozumění.

Vyučující anglického, německého a španělského jazyka hodnotí projektovou práci na téma Diverzita jazyků a kultur v rámci Evropské Unie jako nejzdařilejší. Studenti všech ročníků téma uchopili již třetím rokem trvání projektu a tentokrát bylo jasné, že si práci na projektech všichni užili a zpracovali projekty kreativně a zábavně.

At the beginning of the school year, as part of the Jean Monnet project, we joined the celebrations of the European Day of Languages for the third time. The students prepared short presentations about various European languages, which helped them realize how diverse Europe’s linguistic landscape truly is. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, bringing not only new knowledge but also the joy of discovery.

The program also included activities that the students designed themselves – from quizzes and riddles to language games and short sketches. Thanks to their creativity, learning was combined with a playful approach, so everyone could find something they enjoyed. The students’ active involvement supported not only their language skills but also their ability to cooperate and reflect on what connects them with their peers from other countries.

The whole event also had a deeper educational dimension. In addition to learning new things about languages, we opened the door to a better understanding of individual cultures. The students realized that knowledge of foreign languages is not only a practical skill but also a pathway to understanding the values, traditions, and lifestyles of our European neighbors. The European Day of Languages thus helped us to more fully appreciate our shared European identity and the importance of mutual understanding.

The teachers of English, German, and Spanish languages evaluated the project work on the topic Diversity of Languages and Cultures within the European Union as the most successful yet. For the third consecutive year, students of all grades engaged with the theme, and this time it was clear that they thoroughly enjoyed working on their projects and approached them in a creative and entertaining way.
